Dear Parents/Carers

I hope this letter finds you well. We are excited to continue our journey with the GCSE Photography students this academic year and are committed to providing them with the best resources to foster their creative growth and learning. To further enhance their experience in the Photography class, we kindly request your support in providing your child with a Secure Digital (SD) card.

An SD card is an essential tool for our students as they embark on their photographic journey. It enables them to capture and store high-quality images, ensuring that they can keep their work safe, organised, and readily accessible. With the use of SD cards, students will be able to:

  • Capture High-Quality Images: SD cards have ample storage capacity, allowing students to take a multitude of photographs without worrying about running out of space.
  • Easily Transfer and Edit Photos: SD cards are easily transferable to computers, enabling students to edit and enhance their photos using various software tools, thus refining their photography skills.
  • Secure Storage: SD cards are a reliable means of keeping their work safe, preventing the loss of valuable photographic assignments and projects.

To ensure that your child has the necessary resources for their Photography class, we kindly request that you consider purchasing an SD card with a capacity of at least 16GB or higher. This will provide sufficient storage space for their coursework throughout the year.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the specifications of the SD card or need assistance in acquiring one, please feel free to reach out to us, and we will be more than happy to provide guidance.

Your support in this matter will greatly benefit your child’s educational experience and enable them to fully engage with the creative aspects of GCSE Photography. We appreciate your commitment to your child’s education and are looking forward to a productive and inspiring year ahead.

Thank you for your attention to this request. Together, we can help our students excel in their artistic endeavours.

Yours faithfully

Miss M Blackman | Head of Art and Photography & Mr H Janagel | Head of Design and Food
