Ofsted Report

Ofsted visited Strood Academy in February 2017 and have judged it to have maintained its status as “Good”.

In particular it notes that Strood Academy has the “determination to provide the best possible education for each pupil”, which it pursues with “passion”.

They also go on to state:

  • Together you have risen to challenges of changing national requirements, particularly the more rigorous curriculum.
  • You have established a welcoming school environment that is a good place for pupils to be happy and learn.
  • Pupils feel cared for and enjoy the range of facilities, school clubs and experiences they are offered.
  • There is a sense of trust and mutual respect between pupils and adults and relationships are strong. One pupil summed up the views of those I spoke with: ‘There is always someone here to help.’  For the latest report from 2017 and other reports and inspections, please click the links below.
