Year 11 Module 4 Overview

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are writing to congratulate your child on completing their mock exams in Module 4. We know this has been a demanding period, and their dedication is commendable.

Module 4 Highlights

  • All mock exams have now been completed. Results will be distributed to students in the afternoon. Based on the mock results, teachers will be planning and preparing to address any specific areas where students may need additional support.
  • Year 11 students have continued to have individual careers appointments to explore their future options. Alongside destination interview with Senior Leadership Team to discuss their post-16 destinations and plans.
  • We’d like to acknowledge the outstanding attendance achieved by students in this module. Keep up the good work – there are still some exciting rewards to be claimed through the privilege drive!
  • Easter Intervention: Schedule has been shared and all pupils are invited to attend. Please note that on Friday 5th May there are no sessions running. This was an admin error that has now been rectified.

Looking Ahead to Module 5

  • Year 11 exams are just around the corner! The draft exam timetable has been shared and finalised copies will be distributed shortly after the easter break.
  • In-school interventions will continue throughout Module 5 for students who require additional support.
  • After-school intervention sessions will be open to all Year 11 students.
  • To ensure students are well-prepared for their final exams, a revised finishing timetable will be implemented. This will allow them to focus on their studies during school hours and maximise time in front of subjects specialists.
  • Prom is also on the horizon! We’ll be finalising details soon and sharing them with you.
  • We encourage your child to complete the 70-Day IB Challenge Card.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work and commitment displayed by Year 11 students throughout Module 4. We remain dedicated to supporting them as they enter the final stage of their GCSEs.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Yours faithfully,

Mr S. Fatania
