Dear Parents/Carers
As we now approach the deadline for work experience self placements to be submitted (Friday 23rd February) I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support. The emails and phone calls I have received alongside the self placement forms to keep me informed of your progress has been incredibly helpful.
MEBP (our placement providers) have now confirmed that the deadline of the 23rd will be extended to Friday 8th March to allow those of you making final arrangements the chance to do so. This will be the final deadline MEBP are able to provide in order to ensure all arrangements are made for the work experience placements commencing on Monday 20th May.
As I stated in my letter to you during Module 2, now that self-placement opportunities draw to a close, MEBP will update me with the opportunities they have available for our students who were unable to secure their own placement. Students will be able to log into the work experience platform and select the placement they feel is most suitable. I will share details with you and our students nearer the time to access the platform.
