Dear Parents/Carers
The Royal British Legion: Monday 6th November – Friday 10th November
During week 1 of Term 2 we will be supporting the Royal British Legion.
The Royal British Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. They support serving and ex-serving personnel all year round, every day of the week. Their support starts after one day of service and continues through life, long after service is over.
Along with our box of poppies, the following items will be on sale:
- Key rings
- Rulers
- Pencils
- Wrist Bands
- Zip clips
These will be on sale in the restaurant during break and lunch times each day. Donations should be no less than 50p.
If your child wishes to purchase any of the above items, all donations are to be made in cash only.
On Friday 10th November we are planning to do the minute silence in true Strood Academy style and we be grateful if you could let us know if your child would like to come into school in their cadets uniform on this day by completing the link below:
