Dear Parents/Carers,
As you may be aware, we have put lots of work into our Social Media Platforms and Weekly Parent Bulletin over the course of this academic year, in the hope to improve communications with parents, carers and the local community.
We would like to take this opportunity to examine the effectiveness of these platforms and get some feedback. We welcome all feedback and would encourage you to be as honest and detailed as possible. With your input, we can change and improve the way in which we run these platforms, ensuring they are as effective as can be.
We ask that you complete the below feedback form:
Social Media/Parent Bulletin – Parent Voice Module 3
This feedback form covers both the use of our Social Media Platforms as well as our Weekly Parent Bulletin, however if you do not use/read either of these, there are options to skip past these sections. Please read the summaries of these below:
Social Media Platforms
- We upload daily on Strood Academy’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, hoping to provide timely, relevant updates on what is going on within the academy on a day to day basis, share reminders of upcoming events, and give information on events going on within the local community. If you do not already use these, please give our social media platforms a visit using the following hyperlinks: Facebook – Instagram – Twitter
Weekly Parent Bulletin
- We publish a Weekly Parent Bulletin every Friday afternoon to share a more detailed insight into what has been going on within the academy on a weekly basis. Here, you will find a weekly message shared by the Principal, Key Information, Student Shout-outs as well as a variety of helpful information such as the timetable of the school day, recent letters shared with parents and carers and key dates for the term ahead. We post all Weekly Parent Bulletins on our Social Media platforms, however, these can also be located on the Newsletters and Bulletins Section of the Strood Academy website.
We pride ourselves on the work we have done with these platforms but also realise that feedback is a gift and hope to make them as effective and useful for our parents and carers as possible. Therefore, we would appreciate you taking the time to complete the above feedback form in order for us to further improve our parental communications.
We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this feedback form.
Yours faithfully,
Miss E Light
