Dear Parents/Carers,
I would like to take this time to inform you of an exciting opportunity for your child to enhance their understanding of the English GCSE Content in the final phase of the GCSE Examination Series.
MyTutor is a successful Online Academic Tutoring Program that has become established as a positive medium for accelerating academic progress. Your child has been selected to access this external service.
The program will consist of 10 one hour sessions, timetabled on Wednesdays during the Personal Development sessions throughout Module 3 and 4. This online platform will require a chromebook, headset or headphones and microphone. Strood Academy will supply the headset, meaning that your child need only have their chromebook fully charged and in good working order to be able to access this ‘1 on 1’ tutoring program.
MyTutor Sessions
- Module 3 – each Wednesday 1pm to 2pm, 17th January to 7th February
- Module 4 – each Wednesday 1pm to 2pm, 21st February to 27th March
