Dear Parents/Carers
As students begin their GCSE courses in English Literature and Language, the English Department would like to ensure students are developing a range of skills that will equip them for their exams.
In order to ensure we are able to support our students with a comprehensive understanding of their key Literature texts, as well as helping them develop their annotation skills, we would like to ask you to purchase a copy of ‘Macbeth’ for their use in class.
By purchasing a copy of the text, students can write their notes alongside the text to support their understanding of the play as well as providing them with the opportunity to create a revision tool that they can use in year 11.
The text we have selected is:
- CGP Macbeth – The Complete Play with Annotations, Audio and Knowledge Organisers
The text retails at £6.50 but we are able to purchase these at a discounted price of £3.15 if you purchase directly from us and order through ParentPay. Once you have paid for a copy, English teachers will allocate a copy to your child.
