Dear Parents/Carers
In order to support students as they progress through their GCSE course we are moving students into sets from Monday 8th January.
We feel that a move to sets is crucial in delivering a learning experience bespoke to students’ abilities to ensure that they are able to reach their full potential in both Literature and Language at the end of year 11.
Importantly, sets will continue to be reviewed on a modular basis should the need arise, and should students make rapid progress, we will ensure they continue to be placed within the set which will allow them to continue to make progress.
