Strood Academy welcomed Carrie Whitaker, Lead Practitioner at Lila Dance Company. Carrie led a fantastic workshop with our wonderful Dance students for the first two hours, focusing on floorwork and developing movement material in small groups. The Second session included year 9 and 7 students, who learnt a three count of eight choreography which consisted of floorwork, transference of weight and group work. The students loved this workshop and are eager to have Carrie back!
