The MFL department is delighted to announce that Year 7 students will be able to choose their preferred language to be taught from September.
Learning a language is an important step in your child’s secondary education. At Strood Academy we offer French and Spanish lessons where students are able to learn about various cultures and traditions as a global citizen.
Please complete the online form indicating which language they would prefer to study and the reason why. Students must be confident with their choice as once they are in their allocated language class there will be no movement due to timetable limitations.
If you are unable to complete the document online please return this form to our reception team. Please see the document attached for a copy of the form if you are unable to fill in our online form.

We will try our best to accommodate everyone’s choice but please be aware that there is a possibility that your child might not get their preferred language due to timetabling constraints.
