Year 11 Exam Information Evening: Key Information
I am writing to provide you with a summary of the key information shared at our Year 11 Exam Information Evening, held on1st May 2025. We understand that this is a crucial time for your children, and we want to ensure you have all the necessary details regarding the upcoming exams.

Key Points:
- Exam times:
- AM. Exams will begin at 9:00
- PM. Exams will begin at 13:30
Absence and Lateness:
We must highlight the importance of punctuality and attendance during the exam period. The exam boards have very strict rules:
- Lateness: If a student is late for an exam, the exam board may not accept their script.
- Absence: Unfortunately, students cannot sit an exam at an alternate time if they are absent.
If your child is unwell or there are unavoidable circumstances, you must contact the school immediately. Please call us at 01634 717121 or 07927 564340 if you have any doubts.
Please note that the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) has designated Wednesday, June 25, 2025, as a contingency day, all students must remain available until this date.
