Boys' uniform

The Strood Academy branded blazer to be worn by all students.

Blazer

Academy blazer with badge which must be worn at all times.

The three different coloured ties at Strood Academy. Orange stripes for Trafalgar College, Green stripes for Hercules College and Blue stripes for Victory College.

Tie

Clip on College tie which MUST be tied at the appropriate length:

The tip of the “diamond” must sit at the mid part of the waistband / belt.

Black school trousers

Plain white shirt.

Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Black shoes (no boots or trainers). There should be no coloured laces or stitching.

Black stitched down pleated skirt with Academy Logos and must sit within 5cm of the knee.

Both logos should be visible at all times and skirts must not be rolled up or under.

Jewellery and makeup rules

Extreme haircuts and body piercings are prohibited.
Makeup, false tan and false nails are prohibited.
Students can wear one pair of studs; these can be plain silver or plain gold (no diamonds or coloured stones).
Examples of appropriate earrings:

A close up of a girl's ear with a gold earring stud, and another with a silver earring stud

Students are not allowed to wear jewellery to school except one wristwatch and earrings. Exceptions may be for religious items provided they are worn under the shirt.

Please contact info@stroodacademy.org if you require financial assistance with the cost of uniform. This is available for those students in receipt of free school meals.
