Year 12 and 13 External Exams Module 3 Letter

Dear Parents/Carers

Year 12 and 13 External Exams Module 3

We are writing to inform you on the programme for Year 12 and 13’s external exams for module 3. 

Individual timetables are being issued this week, and re-issued in January displaying rooms and seating arrangements. This information will also be displayed on MCAS showing the exams that your child is due to sit. 

The following BTEC subjects involve completion of a Part A assessment taking place in your child’s timetabled lesson (these dates will not appear on their timetable), work produced in these lessons are needed to support the Part B of the exams.

Part A sessions:

BTEC Sport – Fitness Training and Programming: 

  • Mon 11/12 – P4
  • Thurs 14/12 – P4
  • Thurs  04/01 – P4 
  • Mon 08/01 – P4 

BTEC Applied Law – Dispute solving in Civil Law: 

  • Wed 03/01 – P2
  • Thur 04/01 – P3 & P6
  • Fri 05/01 – P3 & P6
  • Mon 08/01 – P6  

BTEC Applied Law – Applying The Law: 

  • Tues 09/01 – P5 & P6
  • Wed 10/01 – P2
  • Thur 11/01 – P3
  • Fri 12/01 – P6
  • Mon 15/01 – P6

As these are external exams, it is imperative that your child attends all relevant exams and sessions; if an exam is missed then appropriate evidence will be required detailing the extenuating circumstance and will be submitted to the relevant exam board. Please be aware that it is not guaranteed that the evidence will be accepted.
