Re: Final Day Arrangements for Year 11 – 16th June 2025
As we approach the final day of exams for our Year 11 students, I would like to inform you of the arrangements that have been put in place for the smooth conclusion of the academic year.
Chromebook Returns
It is mandatory for all students to return their Chromebooks and chargers before the commencement of their final exam on the 16th of June. For students continuing their studies at Strood Sixth Form in September, new Chromebooks will be provided at the start of the new academic year. Further details regarding these devices will be communicated directly to these students. We kindly remind you that all loaned Chromebooks and chargers must be returned. Failure to do so will result in the matter being handled in accordance with the terms outlined in the LAT loan agreement.
Spanish and Music Pupils
For pupils undertaking the Spanish and Music exam, they may retain their Chromebooks until their final exam on the 17th June, after which the devices will be collected before the commencement of their final exam.
Final Day Schedule
- 8.30 – 10.30: Science Exam: The final Science exam will take place in the AM and will last for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- 10.30 – 11.00: Chromebook, Locker Key Return: Students are required to return their Chromebooks and locker keys.
- Uniform Donations: We request that any Blazers or Ties are donated after the final exam.
- 11:00 – 11.40: Shirt Signing and Dismissal: Following the exam pupils will be given the opportunity to sign shirts and say their final goodbyes to staff and pupils.
**Please note: Students are advised that they cannot have any writing on their shirts when entering their exams and so shirt signing must take place after the students final exam.
- 11:40 onwards: Music Exam: Those students that have a music exam will remain on site and go directly to their masterclass and exam.
- 11.40 onwards: Spanish Masterclass – We are offering a 2 hour spanish masterclass after dismissal. For pupils to attend this we request that parents sign up using the attached form:
