How will I be assessed?

IB Psychology is assessed by 80% External Exams and 20% Internal Assessment. 

You will sit three exam papers at the end of Yr 13, two of these are two hours and one is one hour. The papers have a mix of short and essay questions.

Career opportunities and Future study

The skills that you learn when studying psychology are very broad and can be applied to many areas of work. 

Many universities around the UK offer Psychology as a course, most of these are BPS accredited which is desired among employers in the field and required for further studies in psychology.

As mentioned psychology can lead to a variety of careers but some specifically related ones include counsellor, clinical psychologist, teacher, researcher, educational psychologist, sports psychologist, forensic psychologist and so many more.
