On Friday 31st January, Su Hart, Occupational Therapy Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University came to the academy to speak to our Year 12 and 13 Psychology, Criminology, Law and Health and Social Care students to learn about what it means to be an occupational therapist.
Su discussed the many opportunities that a role in Occupational Therapy can offer and how students might access the career if they were interested. The students learned about the links between their subjects and the role and many were surprised to learn how occupational therapists might work in the forensics and justice systems.
