At Strood Academy, we take great pleasure in celebrating the successes of our pupils as well as our dedicated staff members. Each week, we host a ‘shout out’ session where staff members have the opportunity to nominate one another for their exceptional contributions to the academy community. This initiative not only enhances staff morale but also ensures that outstanding work is recognised and appreciated, fostering a positive and encouraging working environment for everyone involved.
During our recent Parent Voice Forum, we were fortunate to receive valuable feedback regarding the possibility of parents nominating members of our academy staff for awards. This is an excellent suggestion that we had not previously considered, and we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for this insightful idea. Such initiatives reflect the strong partnership between our academy and our parent community and reinforce the notion that together, we can create a collaborative atmosphere that benefits our learners.
Moving forward, we believe it would be wonderful for our parent community to actively participate in recognising the hard work and dedication of our staff. We are tremendously proud of our team and the significant impact they have on our pupils’ education and well-being. Therefore, we invite you to nominate staff members for various reasons, whether it be for their outstanding teaching, their support for individual students, their contributions to extracurricular activities, or simply for their positive influence on the school environment. By doing so, you will help us celebrate their achievements and commitment during our weekly staff meetings.
