As we enter our second year of Strood Vision 2028, we look to continue improving our communications with parents and carers through social media, weekly bulletins, termly newsletters and sharing student achievements.

Last year we were able to make considerable gains in this through the use of our social media platforms to provide regular updates and information on events within the academy, as well as allowing a further channel of communication. Please see the links below for our various social media platforms

Weekly Bulletin
In addition, to provide a more comprehensive and in depth overview of events within Strood Academy, we also share the Weekly Bulletin every Friday via MCAS, as well as on our social media platforms. Please read this for all events and messages from the school.
Termy Newsletter
As of the end of last academic year, we have introduced the End of Module Newsletter which provides further insight into academy life throughout the module. This can also be accessed via MCAS, as well as through our social media platforms.

Student Achievements
We are so proud of all of our students’ achievements, both in and out of school, and would love to be able to share this on our social media platforms. If you would like to share this with us, feel free to email directly ella.light@stroodacademy.org, outlining your child’s achievements as well as sharing any images you may have so this fantastic news can also be recognised at school.
Photo Consent
If your child does not have photo consent, please complete the LAT Photo Consent form in order to allow us to share and celebrate these achievements.
