At Strood Academy we are immensely proud of our Year 13 students, who, despite the challenges faced over the last two years, have celebrated their fantastic results today. We are delighted with their A level and vocational qualification outcomes that match the level of success for IB results in July. We are delighted to be celebrating these results with our Year 13 students this summer. The past two years have been extremely challenging for all our students and we are extremely pleased with how each of them have made progress on their individual academic journeys.
15% students achieved A*-A grades in A levels subjects and 62% achieved A*-C grades.
31% students achieved D8-D in level 3 BTEC qualifications.
This was the first year for the IBCP qualification at the academy and 50% students achieved Grade 5-7 (equivalent to a B-A* grade) while 75% achieved Grade 5-7 in IB Maths.
The Success of our 6th form students continues to grow every year and the results day this year has been a real celebration of all the efforts and achievements. Students will be leaving us for a range of universities and level 3 and 4 apprenticeships. We wish them all the best for their future journeys and we would like to thank all the staff for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the best outcomes for our students.
