Dear Parents, Family, and Friends of Strood Academy,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new Parent, Teachers and Friends Association for Strood Academy. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for the success and well-being of our students and the PTFA will provide a fantastic platform to foster this collaboration.
We are setting up this PTFA to bring together parents, family members, and friends of Strood Academy to support and enrich the learning environment for all our students. By working together, we can contribute to school initiatives, enhance the learning experience, and build an even stronger school community.
We will be officially launching the Strood Academy PTFA on Monday, 28th April, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Strood Academy. We warmly invite all interested parents, family members, and friends to attend this initial meeting to learn more about our vision for the PTFA and how you can get involved.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to take on key roles within the PTFA, including:
- Treasurer: Responsible for managing the PTFA’s finances.
- Chair: To lead and facilitate meetings and oversee the PTFA’s activities.
- Vice Chair: To support the Chair and step in as needed.
- Secretary: To take minutes at meetings and manage PTFA communications.
- Committee Members: To contribute to planning and organising events and activities.
- Volunteers: To offer support with specific events and initiatives as their time allows.
If you are interested in taking on one of these roles or simply volunteering your time and skills, please sign up using the attached Google Form here. We anticipate holding termly meetings to plan activities, discuss school needs, and ensure the PTFA is effectively supporting Strood Academy.
Your involvement, in any capacity, will be invaluable in making the Strood Academy PTFA a success and a positive force within our school community. We look forward to seeing you at our launch meeting on Monday, 28th April.
Sincerely,
Mr M Williams | The Strood Academy PTFA Steering Group
