I am writing to remind you of our upcoming Mock Exam Results Afternoon, which will be held on Thursday 20th March from 16.00-17.00, in the Academy’s main assembly hall.
Following the completion of the February Mock Examinations, this afternoon provides a vital opportunity to reflect on your child’s progress and to strategise for the upcoming GCSE examinations. These mock results are a powerful tool, offering an understanding of current performance and highlighting where areas of development are required.
We understand that these results can be a source of both encouragement and concern. Our dedicated staff will be on hand to offer guidance and support, ensuring that student leaves with a clear understanding of their next steps.
We firmly believe that these mock examinations, and this results collection afternoon, are integral to the success of our Year 11 students. By working together, we can empower them to approach their GCSE examinations with confidence and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Plan for Mock Results Afternoon:
- 16.00-16.10 – Introduction
- 16.10-16.15 – Mock feedback – Science
- 16.15-16.20 – Mock feedback – Maths
- 16.20-16.25 – Mock feedback – English
- 16.25-17.00 – Collection of results and year 11 teachers.
What if I cannot collect my child’s results?
In the event that you cannot attend this event, we encourage the pupils to attend independently to receive key information.
Unfortunately we are unable to arrange individual meetings with staff.
