Dear Parents/Carers
Subject: Invitation to Join the Gospel Choir
We are excited to invite your child to join our new gospel choir, in partnership with We Can Sing Choir. This exciting initiative is supported by Strood PCN, who are generously funding this phase of the program.
- When: Thursdays, 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Where: Dance/Drama rooms (subject to enrollment)
- Dates: Starting October 10th, we will run for 12 sessions, with two public appearances and a final performance. Please note that school holiday Thursdays will not count towards the 12 sessions.
What to Expect:
- Fun and engaging gospel songs: Learn contemporary gospel music from a variety of performers and styles.
- Vocal development: Improve your child’s singing skills through vocal warm-ups and exercises.
- Performance skills: Develop stage presence, lyrical interpretation, and choir performance techniques.
- Band accompaniment: Opportunity for band members to learn the songs and provide live accompaniment.
