We have been delighted to welcome back our year 11 students at Strood Academy for results day. Students have faced unprecedented challenges this academic year but we are exceptionally proud of the resilience and determination they have worked with to achieve the outcomes they so richly deserve. Our students have demonstrated excellent work ethic and integrity towards their studies and we are immensely proud of their achievements today.
This year’s results have been a strong set of well deserved outcomes for our students including an amazing 58.3% of our students achieving a grade 4 and above in both Maths and English. Maths achieved a positive progress score of 0.03 and an attainment of 61% grade 4 and above. The English department also did exceptionally well with a positive progress of 0.14 and an attainment of 69% grade 4 and above.
The top performers at Strood Academy include Angela, Mikelle, Morgan, Kotryna, Molly, Abigail, Yaren, Elizabeth, Daniel and Anya.
We would like to wish all our year 11 the best for their future journeys, for those moving on to college or apprenticeships we wish them success in their pathways. We also look forward to welcoming most of our students back in September who are staying on at our sixth form to pursue academic studies. We are very excited to have them back and be a part of the journey moving forwards.

Morgan and Mikelle were delighted with their results having achieved 7’s, 8’s and 9’s
