Dear Parents/Carers
I wanted to touch base and say that your child has made a positive start to the Football Academy this Academic Year. They have attended regular training and made progressions in team work, fitness, communication skills as well as many other key attributes needed for team sports. Despite unfortunate results in the competitive fixtures due to us being a brand new outfit, our students have remained positive throughout and are a real credit to the school.
We have in our possession the new training kit and tracksuits, images are at the bottom of the letter.
To help us catch up to these already established academies, make the students look and feel professional and to help with equality and break down barriers we would like everyone to purchase the training kit and tracksuit at your earliest convenience. The kit should last the full 2 years of the football academy for Year 12’s so will be a one off purchase.
The cost of the kit package is £160 and includes;
- 2 x Training Kits
- 1 x 1/4 Zip Up Top
- 1 x Rain Jacket
- 1 x Tracksuit
- 1 x Bag (rucksack)
Payment will need to be made in full on Parent Pay. If you would like to pay in instalments please email info@stroodacademy.org but please be advised that no kit can be handed out until the full balance has been received.
Mr Richardson, Principal has already kindly committed to buying the Home and Away match kits which look great and the students have been wearing them to games.
