Dear Parents/Guardians of Year 11 Students,

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all parents and guardians who attended the Year 11 February Mock Results afternoon. Your presence and engagement were greatly appreciated and demonstrated the strong partnership between home and school that is so vital to our students’ success.

Please see attached a copy of the presentation for your records: Feb Mock Results Afternoon .pdf

As you will have seen from the presentation shared during the afternoon, and from the individual mock results discussions, we are now firmly in the crucial run-up to the final GCSE examinations. These exams represent the culmination of years of hard work, and we are committed to providing your children with the best possible support to achieve their potential.

The mock examinations served as a valuable diagnostic tool, providing both students and teachers with insights into areas of strength and areas requiring further attention. We trust that the feedback shared during the results afternoon has provided you with a clear understanding of your child’s progress and the steps needed to ensure they are fully prepared for the summer.

In the coming months, we encourage students to use the following to aid their progres:

  • Targeted revision and intervention: Teachers will be providing focused support in areas identified as needing improvement, both in lessons and through additional intervention sessions.
  • Past paper practice and exam technique: Students will be given ample opportunities to practice exam-style questions and develop effective exam techniques.
  • Well-being support: We recognise the pressures that come with exam season, and we will continue to provide support for students’ mental and emotional well-being.
  • Ultimate Revision Guide: We encourage all pupils to use the revision guide to get direct support on key areas whilst revising at home. Link here: Ultimate Revision Guide

We understand that this is a demanding time for both students and parents. Your continued support and encouragement are invaluable in helping our students navigate this crucial period.

We are confident that with continued hard work, dedication, and collaboration, our Year 11 students will achieve excellent results.

Thank you once again for your partnership.

Yours sincerely,

Kind regards,

Mr S. Fatania
