I hope you are looking forward to a well deserved rest over the two week half term break.
This term has been exceptionally busy, students have returned to school with a very positive attitude to their learning and have been excellent in terms of their behaviour and attendance.
We have a few key reminders for you to be aware of:

Half Term Sessions – Mind
North Kent Mind are running free, friendly and welcoming sessions for young people and parents over the half term break. Please refer to the attached poster for more information.
Meet the SLT sessions
Thank you to those parents that attended our Meet the SLT session this term. This is an opportunity for parents to come in and meet with members of the senior leadership team and provide feedback to us. Forthcoming dates are:

If you are logging onto MCAS for the first time, you will be asked to check your contact details when you log on.

- Click Data Collection Form from the left hand side menu. Address details can be checked and changed on this front page.
- Click on View your Personal Details (top right hand corner) and make any necessary changes.

Bus Strikes industrial action next week
Please be aware that there will be further disruption to bus services in the Northfleet, Gillingham, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells areas with industrial action taking place on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October.
We have sent a separate letter to year 11 and 13 parents regarding mock examinations and October half term intervention details.
Our return to school will be 7th November 2002 for the start of module 2 and we very much look forward to welcoming our students back for the new term.
