Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the end of this academic year, I would like to inform you about the arrangements for our last day and provide you with important details regarding the start of the new academic year in September. We are committed to ensuring that the transition for all students is as smooth as possible, and clear communication with you is crucial in achieving that.
The final day of the academic year will be Tuesday, 22nd July with pupils dismissed at 1:30pm. We have liaised with our transport providers to ensure that arrangements are in place for students to travel home safely and responsibly on that day. We encourage parents and carers to discuss these arrangements with their children to ensure everyone is clear about the pick-up or travel plans.
Looking ahead to September, we recognise that the start of a new academic year can be both an exciting time for students. To support a smooth transition, we will implement a staggered return, this approach has been beneficial in previous years, fostering a sense of ease among students as they settle back into the school routine.
On Monday, 1st September, we will welcome back our Year 7 students, along with Year 11, Year 12, and Year 13 students. Then, on Tuesday, 2nd September, we will welcome back Year 8, Year 9, and Year 10. We truly believe this staggered approach will help our pupils feel ready and prepared for the academic challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these arrangements. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We are here to support you and your children in any way we can.
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year. We look forward to seeing all of our students back in September, refreshed and ready for a successful new academic year.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Jon Richardson | Principal
