Dear Parents/Carers
Following the resounding success and popularity of the Parents & Carers Cyber Choices webinars ran back in February and March of this year, Cybercrime Education has scheduled four more sessions over the summer.
The Cyber Choices sessions for parents, focusing on safeguarding young people from committing computer misuse offences and understanding why this is necessary, can now be booked by clicking on the below links:
- Wednesday, July 17 Cyber Choices for Parents & Carers: Safeguarding Against Cybercrime
- Tuesday, July 23 Cyber Choices for Parents & Carers: Safeguarding Against Cybercrime
- Monday, August 19 Cyber Choices for Parents & Carers: Safeguarding Against Cybercrime
- Thursday, August 22 Cyber Choices for Parents & Carers: Safeguarding Against Cybercrime
These sessions last around an hour, are completely FREE to attend, and received very positive responses when we held them previously. They are aimed at parents/carers of a wide range of children/young people, from KS2 pupils (7-8 year olds) to college/university students (18+). Each webinar covers the same material, so attendees need only sign up for one session.
Additionally, Cyber Protect are running separate webinars for parents and carers, focusing on protecting children from online threats. These sessions – also FREE – and can be booked by clicking on one of the links below:
