This weekend, we proudly received the results for our Year 13 International Baccalaureate (IB) cohort, and today we had the distinct pleasure of celebrating these remarkable achievements with our pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
I am truly delighted to report that this year’s results represent the strongest outcomes our academy has ever achieved. On average, our Year 13 students attained a grade of H4, which is a clear indication of their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to their studies. This year’s average point score has shown an increase compared to last year, thereby marking this year’s outcomes as the strongest in our academy’s history.
As we reflect on these fantastic results, we take immense pride in the exceptionally strong performances across a variety of subjects. Subjects such as English, geography, film, psychology, and social and cultural anthropology saw our pupils excel, showcasing not just their academic talent but also their dedication to their learning journeys. Notably, our students studying global politics have achieved sensational outcomes, which fills us with immense pride and joy, as well as optimism for their futures.
Additionally, it is with great pleasure that I highlight the remarkable achievement of 100% of our pupils successfully completing the full International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). This is an extraordinary milestone, showcasing the dedication and resilience of our students. We commend their efforts and the support and guidance they received from our teachers throughout this demanding academic journey.
We are delighted to share some individual successes:
- Lexie: H7 in psychology
- Amelia: H6 in film and H5 in psychology
- Tarry: H6 in English and H6 in global politics

In closing, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all of our pupils on their exceptional achievements. We recognise the dedication it took to reach these levels of success, and we celebrate each one of you. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we guide our young learners towards their future endeavours.
