Dear Parents/Carers,
With warmer temperatures forecast for June and July, we are very pleased to announce that blazers will be optional for students for the remainder of Module 6.
This decision reflects our commitment to creating a comfortable learning environment for our students during the warmer months. Families may choose for their children to leave their blazers at home if they prefer not to wear them. However, should students feel more comfortable wearing their blazers, they are certainly welcome to do so. We understand that personal comfort can vary and wish to accommodate all our students’ needs.
As we anticipate rising temperatures, it is essential to emphasise the importance of staying hydrated. High temperatures can affect concentration and overall well-being, so I kindly remind you to ensure that your child brings a reusable water bottle filled with water to school each day. We encourage all students to take regular sips throughout the day.
We genuinely appreciate your continued cooperation in upholding our uniform expectations. A consistent approach to our uniform policy fosters a sense of belonging and community within our school. If you have any questions or would like additional information regarding our uniform policy or any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s college team.
Please be reminded that from Module 1 blazers will continue to be a part of our compulsory academy uniform.
Thank you once again for your support and understanding.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Jon Richardson | Principal
