A Level Results Day

Strood Academy students and staff celebrated another successful year of A Level and Level 3 BTEC results today. With the increasing rigour at A level, we were delighted to report a 98% pass rate with some stunning individual results such as Sasha who achieved 3 A* and one B grade and is now off to University of Kent to study Law; Abbey who achieved two Bs and a C and will be studying Film and English and American Literature at University of Kent and, Connor who also achieved two Bs and a C who is going to study Politics and Industrial Relations at Greenwich University .  There was similar success at BTEC with many students achieving the grades they needed for their university places, apprenticeships or employment. In a year that has seen significant academic challenge with the new qualifications, students (and staff) are rightly proud of their achievements.
